What You Get
The current Free Burning Studio release includes its application features without a subscription, payment or registration. The data-disc, audio-CD, image-writing and disc-checking tools belong to the same free application.
Free refers to use of the software. You still supply the optical drive and blank media for a physical burn. Building an image on your PC is a separate operation that does not require a blank disc.
Know What You Are Installing
Download the current installer from this website. Windows file properties can show its digital-signature information, helping you inspect the file before you run it. Setup requests administrator access because the program needs it for optical-drive operations.
A signed file identifies a publisher and whether the signed content has changed. It does not guarantee that any particular drive, blank disc or player will work together. Start with a suitable test project.
The Research Invitation Is Optional
Setup may present a separate RelevantKnowledge research invitation. Its official Agree / Decline screen is where you decide whether to participate. You can decline or skip it and still install Free Burning Studio with its features available.
RelevantKnowledge has its own collection practices and uninstall entry. Read its policy before deciding. Removing Free Burning Studio does not remove independently accepted research software.
