Check The Task Before The Feature List
For file storage, look at Data Disc Wizard. For a traditional music CD, use Create Audio CD. For an ISO, go directly to Burn / Write. For an authored movie folder, use Video DVD from Folder.
This gives you a more useful evaluation than trying unrelated settings. An application can support several disc types while only one workflow matters to your project.

Test One Disc Before A Large Job
Use a small set of representative files or a known image and appropriate blank media. Inspect the output on the target computer or player. For audio, test the track sequence; for video, test playback and navigation.
Keep your original source and note the drive, media and settings that produced a working result. These details are also useful if you later ask for help with a different disc.
Read Claims In Context
No feature list can guarantee every combination of writer, medium and playback device. Likewise, a successful burn is not proof that a copied MP4 has become DVD-Video. Evaluate the prepared content and the recorded disc as separate parts of the job.
