Audio CD Or A Disc Of MP3 Files?
An audio CD uses a track-based format understood by conventional CD players. A data disc of MP3 files relies on a player that can browse those files and decode MP3. They are different projects, even when you start with the same songs.
For an audio CD, the running time of the tracks matters. Compare the complete track list with the duration supported by the blank CD and your writer. Keep the source music available throughout the build.
Arrange The Tracks
- Open Audio & Music Wizard and choose Create Audio CD.
- Add the audio files you want on the disc.
- Check their sequence and preview the tracks to confirm you selected the right versions.
- Review the total playing time, track information and output settings.
- Prepare the audio-CD image and follow the writing workflow with compatible blank media.
- Play the finished disc in the intended CD player and check track changes.
Keep The Audio Image Files Together
An audio-CD build can produce a BIN/CUE pair. The BIN contains the audio data, while the CUE describes the track layout. Keep both files together and use the appropriate image entry when writing the disc.
Album and track text, where supplied, does not mean every player will display it. CD-TEXT support depends on the writer, recording choices and playback device.
If You Wanted An MP3 Data Disc
Choose Copy Music to Disc instead of Create Audio CD. That route stores the music files as data. Before making one, confirm that the target player accepts the file formats and the selected disc medium.
